Sales Manager/Executive (Regional/Polyolefin)

Responsibilities

  • Manage and develop sales and marketing activities through delivery of products and services to meet customer demands within defined areas to meet business targets.
  • Propose, develop, and deliver agreed sales plan (volume, price, customer and product mix) to optimize business at each customer
  • Provide accurate operational planning information and forecasting of customer needs to supply chain
  • Provide advice on products, business segments and value chain opportunities to customers/ industry players
  • Identify and develop opportunities to grow the business/country strategy
  • Manage activities at key customers to optimize business with overall strategy
  • Manage after sales activities at the customer
  • Work closely with marketing to further develop regional business strategy
  • Build and maintain customer relationships
  • Manage after sales activities at the customer to ensure business continuity
  • Identify new business opportunities
  • Manage customer requirements internally to deliver agreed results
  • Gather market information and enhance the company's reputation through the development of positive relationships with the relevant industry contacts

Requirements

  • Min. Diploma or degree or diploma
  • At least 3 years of relevant sales experience in petrochemical/infrastructure industry is preferred
  • Basic SAP skills
  • Basic knowledge of customer conversion process and product promotions
  • Sufficient knowledge of polyolefin products and its applications
  • Knowledge of marketing strategy and value chain and the sales cycle
  • Understanding of market structure and factors influencing industry demand and profitability
  • Awareness of customer needs across defined regional areas
  • Good knowledge of selling and sales management techniques
  • Good financial literacy
  • Good proficiency in written and spoken English
  • Competence in standard office software
  • Good reporting, documentation skills, presentation and negotiation skills
  • Good time management and planning skills
  • Excellent proficiency in native language
  • Excellent internal and external networking skills
