Project Manager (Office relocation/new office)

Responsibilities

  • Accountable for deliverables including budget, monitoring costs, timely completion of all the projects, quality and safety.
  • Have full oversight, responsibility and accountability for management of contractors, meeting established milestones on a timely basis, overall program management, client liaison, as well as guiding and mentoring local staff in the execution of their project related responsibilities.
  • Ensure project policies, procedures and standards are adhered to.
  • Lead the implementation of assigned projects; track and control all project phases and activities.
  • Proactively identify potential delays and risk and seek mitigation
  • Review project design for compliance with engineering principles, company standards, contract requirements, and related specifications based on stakeholder requirements
  • Establish work plans and procedures for each phase of project (engineering, procurement, construction and commissioning)
  • Identify resources needed and assigns individual responsibilities.
  • Manage the architects, developers and vendors throughout the entire construction process including local authorities in collaboration with the local operations
  • Oversee and monitor site construction work progress to ensure schedule is meeting major milestones
  • Manage day-to-day operational aspects of project scope and prepare status reports for management
  • Work with project teams to drive program / project schedules and contract deliverables with a focus on delivering on every commitment made to the customer
  • Responsible for safe and incident free execution of assigned projects, on time and within budget.

Requirements

  • Degree in Building / Architecture
  • Minimum 10 years’ experience in Project Management as a Project Manager or Consultant with emphasis of major refurbishing and fit out projects for international corporate organization.
  • Superior project management capabilities and a proven track record in assuming overall responsibility and managing multi-million dollars projects in industrial / commercial sectors
  • Demonstrated business leadership, project management and technical abilities; experience with managing various stakeholders including local government
  • Outstanding communication skills at all levels of the organization and across all functional units
  • Demonstrated project management and technical abilities; experience with managing various stakeholders including local government
  • Excellent communication skills. Drives and participates in negotiations, understands changes and subsequent impacts, and able to communicate these changes effectively to the team.
  • Has working knowledge of Project Management methodologies, processes and tools.
  • Ability to manage a cross-cultural team remotely
  • Self-driven, goal-oriented, strong interpersonal skills.
